Tina Butterwort
I love plants, in particular, carnivorous plants (as previous posts indicate!). The obsession began when the Wendy House got an infestation of fungus gnats. So I bought some Sundews. They helped out massively though not thoroughly, so I bought some more. And a few Venus Fly Traps. Then I bought a Butterwort.
I adored that plant especially, her official hybrid name was Tina, so that's how she was known. I'd had Tina about 4 years during which time she flowered and was totally healthy (as you can see). Then earlier this year she doubled seemingly out of nowhere. Two Tina's!
THEN. That blooming heat wave arrived in London. Each and every Summer the Wendy House turns into a pizza oven, but this year it was indescribable. We managed to survive it, however most of my beloved carnis including Tina x 2 didn't.
I still have my various types of Sarracenia, a Venus Fly Trap, new Butterwort and Nepenthes so the collection hasn't entirely been wiped out but largely it has sadly.
On a much happier note, the Witch In The Wendy House shop is back fully stocked with lots of lovely witchy things. There are several new unique witch boxes up for grabs, my best selling spell candles, ritual candles, plus loads more. Soon the Witch In The Wendy House Little Box of Yule 2022 will be released. My little sabbat boxes have been so incredibly popular and are really cherished which makes my heart sing! Oh, and Gwydions Moon Diary - The Witches Favourite is also available, that's a must have every year!
So yes, very busy but lots of updates coming.
